Hubs
Keeping my eye on what special rows appear in the Worlds menu, e.g. "Spookality" in October
Searching VRChat channels’ catalogs on YouTube, as big events may feature/attract content creators
There’s also a messy wiki category that I want to use to find out “what were/are the biggest events?”
https://hello.vrchat.com/events – a few regular weekend activities, types vary (removed early October '22)
https://vreventhub.com/ (Twitter, Discord) – not just weekend, types vary
Hubs on Clubbing section, for the DJ/music events
https://reddit.com/r/VRchat/?f=flair_name%3A”Events” – random grab bag (link only works on desktop?)
https://en.vrcw.net/event – a JP-community calendar
https://vrceve.com/ + https://twitter.com/vrcevent_info – big JP-community calendar with Twitter feed
Past Journeys
Raindance Immersive / The Raindance Embassy 2022
:
an annual arthouse-y spotlight of key creations!
HorrorConVR 2022 (Twitter) - A bite-sized version of the VRCon booth world catered to the genre, neato. Small enough that a good couple people are actually able to just hang out by the booths they submitted too!
Virtual Okinawa (Event Website, Third-party Writeup)
Future Journeys
“VKET” (EN/JP Twitter) – creators submit to join in it, like a CES x Comiket; a user explaining 2022S:
I've attended their music and primary expos up above--but not comics or games yet!
The corporate sponsor "Parareal" worlds go away when a Vket ends (licensing?)
I've seen otaku anime/game/vtuber partnerships, but also gyms, banks, Coca-Cola's...
Can often feature in-booth interactions, e.g. a race or bowling alley at Belc
But the community-booth worlds stay up, here's a fantastic fan-archived hub for them:
Also shoutouts to their optimistic, futurist concept art showcases, highly talented illustrators!
I think via Explore VRChat that I've stumbled into a Chinese community expo here?
Need to investigate more of the above hubs!

Thanks to all involved in organizing these events -- and everyone in attendance who warrants them continuing!
Special thanks to "T" for helping point me towards the fan archive and letting me join their Vket field trips!
